Keyword Research Services – A Godsend Or A Rip Off?
Filed under UncategorizedMar 15Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? Actually, it’s not a problem finding them. The problem is though that most are next to useless, or at least seem to be.
I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. I had no reason to doubt the leading player’s figures. Turns out they do and they don’t.
What you see (the data) is not what you get. However it would have been when they collated it. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.
I was going for a keyword that had roughly five thousand competing pages. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
It didn’t take long to notice there were now over 9000 competing sites. I could hardly believe that. Had there been some mistake? As it happens most of these extra results were my articles on these different sites.
My point being is that I’d have swerved this keyword if I had seen nine thousand competitors. As a lot of them were mine (or had my article on) I was competing against my self most of the time. Not a bad situation to be in if you ask me.
Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. Balancing cost against time taken (by me) seemed to prove it could be a valuable asset.
I decided to give Travis Sago’s Instacash service a try. Travis being at the top of the bum marketing pile. Bum marketing is something I really like.
It takes me an hour or two to come up with a couple of decent keywords. Getting them delivered is a huge help. When all I have is time then two hours saved can be huge to me. For what the service costs each day against my 2 hours means I’m getting huge value.
Outsourcing, outsourcing, outsourcing. Seems to be all you hear from the gurus of internet marketing. I reckon there’s not much difference here. I’m giving my keyword research to someone else to do. That’s outsourcing.
If you’re interested in how the trial of the Instacash service went then head on over to my web site. I mentioned earlier about getting thousands of articles published for a good keyword. I’ll show you how I did that at my site.
